Isabella Soliano comes from a generation of jazz musicians, a heritage that dates back to the nation’s history that began with her father Alfonso Soliano and his cousin Tony Soliano who were living legends during their time.
During her early childhood years, she was already listening to Nancy Wilson, Astrud Gilberto and Sergio Mendez whilst growing up in Bangkok that impacted and influenced her taste for jazz music.
‘Music was like a household daily routine’ she quipped, her father would have his band practices at home on a weekly basis with his band mates and the children would sit around to watch and learn and similarly that tradition carried on when the Soliano Band was formed.
Isabella, seventh in a family of five brothers and five sisters and are professional musicians in their own right.
She performs nightly with the family band The Soliano’s, swinging to the likes of Ella, Sinatra and compositions of her father.
Her cool and sensual singing would reflect her unmistakable love for jazz ballads ingrained in her soul, wanting to be heard and longing to be felt by her audience.
